Highlights of Term 2 P6 (RM 19 AND 20)
Hello, we are the Term 2 blogger team for P6, our names are Olive (RM19), Kyle (RM20) and Henry (RM20). We’re here to give you the highlights of T2.
The hectic term started with both of the P6 classes working their socks off on their Remembrance assembly. We created a variety of unique poppies to remember those who died and those who made a difference in the war. Thanks to Sophie B’s grandad for coming in and talking to us about his family history.
In writing, we were learning different techniques of poetry and used those skills to create meaningful, moving, Poppies for Remembrance poems.
We also went to South Holburn Church for Bubblegum ‘n’ Fluff to learn about the story of Christmas, do some crafts and have fun.
We visited Cranford Care home and we sang carols like Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree to the lovely people there. Our message was to have a merry Christmas and a Happy New year. RM 19 had the musicians in the class play Christmas tunes.
Look out for future blogs by us coming soon!
