Term 1 in P7 Room 21

Room 21 pupils quickly settled in to P7 and term one flew past. The main focus for our IDL was “Me and my World” where we researched, shared, displayed and presented  information about the environment, climate change and the effect the climate in different parts of the world have on the lifestyles and conditions people live in.

House Captain elections were held, every pupil who applied and gave a speech did a fantastic job and having to make a choice was a difficult decision. Congratulations to all candidates and the eventual winners.

Our novel study this term was “Goodnight Mister Tom.” This allowed opportunities to consolidate and develop the Reflective Reading strategies and study many aspects of the book in detail.

Participation in the Hydrogen Challenge, where we had to design and test Hydrogen Powered cars, resulted in 3 pupils from the class winning the Aberdeen City final! Well done!
