P1 Rm 4 Term 2 Blog

In Term 2, P1 were very busy bees! We worked together to sequence the story of Funny Bones and then created our very own skeletons using cotton buds whilst talking about what foods are good for our bones, linking to our health and wellbeing topic ‘Me and My Plate’.

Check out some of the active ways we have been learning in phonics and numeracy!

One of our favourite shared reader books this term was ‘Stick man’. Rm 4 worked together to sequence the story of Stickman, into the beginning, middle and end. We then created our own little book, with a relevant beginning, middle and end as well as drawing some lovely illustrations! Look at some of our amazing writing!

In P.E. with Mrs. Begg, we were very brave climbing on some of the equipment during gymnastics. We had lots of fun attempting many different types of rolls and balances.

Towards the end of Term 2, we had our sparkle and shine. It was very glittery and messy but so much fun!

Not to forget all our singing, dancing and rehearsing for our fantastic Nativity, ‘A little bird told me’!
