P5 (Room 16) Homework
Today P5 (Room 16) received a copy of their homework tasks and a copy of their spelling words. The spelling words are common words to practice at home on a weekly basis. The children will also be learning different spelling sound patterns in class, but the common words will be the only set of words going home. These words are ones that we come across often in books that we are reading and they are very important for writing too. The children will be assessed on a weekly basis and once they are secure with their words then they will move onto the next set.
Please choose one spelling activity (which is at the back of your jotter) to practice these words.
Maths homework this week is focused on revising our times tables. Choose a timetable of your choice and try and get quicker with your recall by using ‘Hit the Button’. See link below:

If you have trouble accessing the link then write down the multiplication table in your jotter.
Our topic homework is to find the names of three capital cities in Africa. Good luck geographers.
Thank you to those of you who have already covered your jotters. If you require a spare sheet or you need some help let me know.
Many thanks,
Mr Donaldson
