Dissolving

This week we have worked hard to develop our knowledge of scientific vocabulary linked with mixtures and the process of dissolving. We then investigated different substances to find out whether they were soluble or insoluble. Having conducted the informal investigations this afternoon, we have discussed various factors that could affect the rate of dissolving and have identified ways to ensure experiements are fair and reliable. We plan to use this to plan and conduct our own experiments to investigate the rate of dissolving.
