Children 1st Parentline
Please find attached a leaflet on Parentline that will be another support for families across Aberdeen City.
This is our digital family support, usually run by volunteers but due to COVID -19 our staff are running this through this period where demand is increasing for the more vulnerable families especially, it’s a website, help line, text and webchat providing free emotional and practical support 7 days a week. Already we are seeing a huge increase to the website and families calling the support line about the virus. Parents worried about how they will cope with money worries or managing the children 24/7, kinship carers concerned for their own health and mental wellbeing concerns for parents escalating. Parentline will be a calm and reassurance support for families in the months ahead.
