P4 visit to Duthie Park.

Primary 4 went on a trip to Duthie Park. This was linked with our Scotland topic where we had an exciting day exploring the Winter gardens and learning more about the Tropical and Arid climate zones.

We learnt all about different plants that thrive in certain climate zones and why. We also got to take part in a Tropical planting challenge. During this we planted papaya seeds and discussed different conditions in which we think the seeds would grow effectively. We have our papaya seeds back at school under slightly different conditions to see how they will grow.
