Farm on wheels

We had a fantastic surprise today. A farm came to visit our school. We were able to see a new born calf and some sheep. The farmers showed us what animals produce for us- wool, milk. They also showed us wheat, barley and oat. They told us milk was produced from cows and milk which then makes our chocolates and cheese. They explained that wheat makes flour, which we need for our bread and biscuits, oats makes our porridge and barley is used for making whiskey. They showed us some hey and told us that this is what the  animals in the farm eat. It was very exciting to see these animals so close.
