Happy new year!

Welcome back everyone! We hope you all had a lovely Christmas break. It has been a busy first week back. We would like to welcome all our new starts into nursery. It has been great getting to know you all this week. The children have been very responsible and have been showing their new friends where everything is.

We have started our new book of the month Stick man. The children have been talking about the events and characters in the story and are already able to recite some of the words. We have been talking about the author and illustrator and what they do.

We will now be writing one ILD per month on your child. This will be a more in depth report on their progress for that month compared to the smaller ILD’S previously. This will provide you with more information about their development at nursery. The children will be involved in reading this at the end of each month with their keyworker and filing them in their folder in the cloakroom. This gives them a sense of achievement about the things they are learning at nursery.
