Pizza making!

This week the children have had a go at making their own pizzas for snack. They were very involved in the process of choosing their toppings and letting us know their likes and dislikes! Our new house corner has been a great hit. We have included real food, utensils and pots and pans. The children have been interested in playing with real food. They have had a go at peeling the red onions that we picked from our nursery garden. There has been lots of discussion on the smell and enjoyment in investigating peeling the different layers of the onions.

We have started an achievement wall in class where we would like to display some of the activities and achievements your children do out of nursery. This could be an extra curricular activity they do or something they have learned like learning to ride their bike. We will talk about this in class and praise their efforts. This will encourage them to take pride in their achievements and to support each other. If you have any photographs you would like to send to us for the wall please ask for my email address and we can print them out and display them.
