Book of the month!

 This week the children have been involved in voting for the next book of the month. They have shown interest in having their say and the overall winner was A Squash and a Squeeze. We are continuing to look at the books written by Julia Donaldson. They have already started reciting familiar phrases in the story and drawing pictures of their favourite characters for our wall display. Book of the month is proving to be a big hit with the children!

   We are amazed at how creative the children are! They have been honing their building skills with the loose parts in the last few weeks and have came up with some fantastic ideas. Following on from their interest in the London eye they have had a go at building London bridge and big ben. We have also problem solved our ideas on making the Aberdeen eye. The detail and thought that is going into their creations is fantastic and they continue to show a keen interest in this area. If you have any wood or materials lying about you no longer need we would love to take them off your hands.
