Tyrebagger Trip
The Golden Ticket winners from each class went to Tyrebagger on Monday to pick our Broomhill Christmas Tree.
We met John, who works for the Forestry Commission. He told us all about trees and helped us to pick one.
We all worked together to carry the tree back to Miss McCartney’s car.
After that we went on a woodland walk. We found some tree stumps and counted the rings to see how old the tree was. We also found a tree which had fallen down and we saw all of the roots.
