P5 R15 Term 3 by the pupils!

The pupils in Room 15 have written the website post themselves about Term 3!

This Term we are learning about Mary Queen of Scots for the Scottish Topic. We have to learn a Scots poem and say it in front of the class. The options are Roman Sodger and Street Talk. 

In reading we have 3 reading groups; J.K. Rowling, Anthony Horowitz and Tom Gates. They are reading The Bad Beginning, The London Eye Mystery and Bill’s New Frock. 

For maths we are working on fractions and know how to talk about them using words like denominator and numerator. We have CLIC three times a week and have CLIC and Learn It tests every week. 

In writing we are doing non chronological reports and we are researching our own reports in ICT this week. We also use Rainbow Marking sometimes to check for VCOP in our work. 

We use the ICT rooms twice a week and use all the Google Apps. We have class laptops and an i-Pad that we use for lots of things. We love using Google Classroom. 

We are lucky to have PE with Mrs Begg and Mr Pirie this term. Mrs Begg is doing gymnastics with us. 

Our tables have changed this term and we now sit in 4s. We can earn table DOJO points for lots of different things.
