Maths Week and Roald Dahl Day

Last week was Maths Week and we also celebrated Roald Dahl Day. We took part in Sumdog Maths Week Contest and out of 2,504 classes across Scotland, we came 191st! We were the highest place class from our school. We enjoyed playing Sumdog.

For Roald Dahl Day, we all turned up in different costumes from the great writer, Roald Dahl. We did paired reading with R12 and we did a quiz. The quiz winners were Lochlan (R21), Angus (R21), Tomas (R12), Rhudi (R12) and Ziphona (R12). Well done to everyone! We got the chance to watch some of James and the Giant Peach. We had a fun day but unfortunately our parade was cancelled due to the weather! Here are a few of our costumes…
